Backend Engineer- Experience with React JS and React Native will be a big plus
Description
Some of what you will do in this role includes:
- Write clean, testable code using Java programming language; test and debug various existing serverless applications
- Design, build and maintain APIs, services, and systems
- Work together with a team of developers and document development and operational procedures
- Building/designing/developing multi-tier systems for high transaction volume / scalability
- Implementing security measures in the software applications and in the development roles/process
- Integrating 3rd party services via API. Services such as payment processing or banking/financial related services (IMPS/NEFT deposits and withdrawal, credit/debit card load, bill payments, mobile top-up, insurance, loans, etc.)
- Leveraging solutions available on GCP & AWS
To apply for this role, you should have most of the following in your background:
- Experience working in an Agile environment using JIRA project management and issue tracking software
- Demonstrable Expertise in Java
- Experience with React JS and React Native will be a big plus
- Demonstrable expertise in NoSQL databases
- Demonstrable experience in Git, Pull Requests, Code Review
- General understanding of blockchain, digital currencies and fintech space
- Should have sample source code that can be shared
- Should be willing to complete a 90 minute design and code test when shortlisted
- At least 3+ years of professional software development experience
- Either a bachelor’s degree in a technical field involving coding (e.g., Computer Science, Engg) or equivalent technical experience
