Description
We are looking for an iOS developer responsible for the development of applications aimed at a range of iOS devices including mobile phones and tablet computers.
You’ll be part of a cross-functional team that’s responsible for the full software development life cycle, from conception to deployment.
You will be working alongside other engineers and developers working on different layers of the infrastructure. You should also be a team player with a knack for solving challenging problems.
Responsibilities
- Design and build applications for the iOS platform
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
- Collaborate with a team to define, design, and ship new features
- Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs
- Help improve our code quality through writing unit tests, automation and performing code reviews.
- Ability to work completely independently and be able to collaborate with other team members for effective delivery of the project
Skills
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience in iOS app development
- Proficient with Swift and Cocoa Touch
- Experience with iOS frameworks such as Core Data, Core Animation, etc.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect iOS applications to back-end services
- Knowledge of the latest iOS features and the UI/UX standards
- Understanding of Apple’s design principles and interface guidelines
- Experience with performance and memory tuning with tools such as Instruments and Shark, depending on the project needs
- Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications
- Knack for benchmarking and optimisation
- Experience with threading, and performance tuning
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tool Git
- Familiarity with CI / CD (Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment) will be a plus
- Excellent communication skills to express the work done by self and the team to ensure smooth relation with the client
