Job Responsibilities for Python Web Developer:
- Update and improve the core SaaS web application used by external customers.
- Contribute to the creation of our next generation functionality offered to customers.
- Collaborate with peers on feature and architecture implementation plans.
- Communicate and work well with everyone in our team, including sales, support, management, and other developers.
- Conduct unit testing and other code reviews.
- Participate in testing as required.
- Prepare technical documentation.
- Ability to diagnose problems as they arise and then design and develop solutions to exceed user expectations.
- Review requirements specifications and identify gaps and inconsistencies.
- Participate in Agile based iteration and SCRUM meetings.
Required Skills for Python Web Developer:
- 5+ years of experience building web applications.
- BSc in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant field.
- 3+ years of working experience using Python or any other web framework.
- Working experience with Linux, HTML5, JS, CSS and Git.
- Working experience with PostgreSQL or MS-SQL.
- Team spirit and good problem-solving skills.
Nice to have:
- Experience using PostGIS or other GIS.
- Familiarity with Google Maps or similar location service API.
- Familiarity with front-end technologies including client frameworks such as Angular.
