Job Description – Senior Software Developer
Job Summary:
The software engineer will be responsible for both back-end and front-end development, including creating and maintaining WordPress plugins.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Designing and implementing new features and functionalities
- Creating and maintaining documentation of the work.
- Design & develop web-based applications using PHP/MySQL
- Manage project tasks, timelines, and communication.
- Delivering Scalable & easy maintain solutions using engineering best practices and relevant coding standards.
- Creating test cases for all the work developed
- Technical help in resolving the support requests
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a similar field.
- Candidate having 2 – 5 years of experience.
- Proven work experience as a WordPress developer is an add-on.
- Experience in creating WordPress plugins from scratch is an add-on
- Sound coding logic and analytical ability to design test scenarios and debug issues
- Keen interest in research about the latest web technologies and advancements
- Enthusiasm to learn new technologies and incorporate them into the new offerings/solutions.
- Ability to work in teams.
- Ability to learn fast.
- Good communication skills
Job Requirement
Technical Skills:
- Knowledge of front-end technologies including MySQL, PHP, CSS3, JavaScript, HTML5, and jQuery.
- Knowledge of code versioning tools like Git
- Knowledge of how to interact with RESTful APIs and formats. (JSON, XML)
- Experience working with debugging tools such as Chrome Inspector and Firebug.
- Good understanding of website architecture and aesthetics.
- Write efficient, robust, and reusable code while adhering to WordPress coding standards.
